Michael John McCarthy is a Cork-born, Glasgow-based musician and composer for stage and screen.
He has played on albums by Zoey Van Goey, Aidan Moffat, Emma Pollock, RM Hubbert, Lord Cut-Glass, Alasdair Roberts, Trembling Bells & Bonnie 'Prince' Billy, Niall Connolly & Jo Mango amongst others.
He has worked on over 80 theatrical productions, including nine Edinburgh Fringe First winners.
